According to John Bolton we gave up the moral high ground by simply talking to a "rogue nation". He also thinks going and getting our 2 citizens was a BAD (that's right, the opposite of good) move. He prefers America leave its people to rot in foreign jails when they have been arrested for no reason. makes us look so much stronger when we do that.
Who says we gave up anything? KJI most likely sees having Bill freaking Clinton come to him and beg for the release of two political prisoners as a huge victory in and of itself. However, since you're SOOOO hung up on it, find out what we "gave up" and get back to us with it. I will respond with the proper disgust and dismay to make you happy. Sound good?
I know that the Dubya years have made some of you forget, but the US used to be one of the best in the world at this thing called "diplomacy". I imagine that Bill used this strange and outdated concept to secure the release of the prisoners.

What was given up in return?
Keep looking for that negative spin, Jamz. You'll find it eventually...
Brian...negative spin?
It's called reporting.
What was given up in return? Promises we wouldn't expand missile defense sales to Japan? You can call it spin...I just want the details.
Brian...do you just not care what the details were?

If only we could have exchanged Jamz for the two prisoners. Win-win.
No one knows or cares to know.
Right Mitch? SPP? Brian?
Mitch...I'm sorry you feel asking questions is unpatriotic.

Sounds like it was quite the planned event. Maybe Bing sent over thousands of DVDs since he knows Il is such a movie nut.
Gore there too?...it was just Omabalicious.

Still waiting...
What, you're surprised that America needed someone to go to another country and pick up chicks, and Bill Clinton was able to do it?
:)
Good one.
Probably told Kim Jong he's been hankering for a massage.
