Greatest Press Release Ever

RBC, the banking behemoth that just finished building a sparkling 40 story tower in downtown Raleigh, sent out the greatest press release in the history of corporate press releases this morning:

RBC Bank has an important update they would like to share regarding their grand opening of the RBC Plaza.

A Red Bull BASE jump was one of several activities planned as part of the RBC Plaza Grand Opening celebration. In light of this week's events, RBC Bank did not feel that a jump was appropriate and decided to cancel it.

"Given the recent market activities, we just didn't think it was an appropriate time to have people jumping off of a bank building," said Jamie Mitchell, RBC Bank media relations manager.
