In the meantime, check out the new blogroll. If you have any suggestions for thoughtful or entertaining blogs that I and my 2.5 readers a day might like, please let me know.

I like it, but there was nothing wrong with the 'old' one.
Must be that CHANGE thing taking over! ;-)
I guess you're going 'green', huh? ;)
Looks good to me. Change can be a very good thing...
I like the new look. Change is good. Jesse Jackson wants to cut Obama's nuts off.
I saw that.
Oh heavens! Black men have differing opinions about issues, and occasionally curse! Time to run nonstop stories about this amazing new fact!
(psst . . . neither Barack Obama nor Jesse Jackson have ever, to my knowledge, used the C word to refer to his wife, to her face.)
I like the old format better.
I really like the video of it, though. Jesse even puts the slicing hand motion in. I thought it was hilarious. I think Jesse may be mad that Obama is stepping on his and Bill Cosby's toes. Fox News will now run this repeatedly until every person in America knows about it.
Interesting that everyone focuses on the nuts, but does not comment on everything else Jackson said. So does Obama talk down to black people? That's what Jackson seems to think.
I was under the impression that Jesse thinks Obama is talking down to young black men, not all black people. Furthermore, I think what bothers Jesse about it, if the above ASSumption is correct, is that Obama is honing in on Jesse's Schtick. Jesse loves to tell young black men to think more about having a real future than about selling drugs, rapping, or playing ball. He loves to tell them to take care of their kids and worry about things more important than expensive clothes and shiny cars with spinning rims and loud bass. He loves to tell them to break the cycle of violence and abuse and not to perpetuate it. I don't understand why it would make him angry if Obama preaches the same things, unless he feels threatened. Look at Jesse's son's reaction to his father's statements. HE is appalled. He doesn't even call him dad in his press released reaction, he calls him "mmmREVrend JACKson" (h/t to *shudder* Rush Limbaugh).

It's a shame, but I think it's safe to assume that somebody isn't listening to Rev. Jackson.
We are in accord on that, joaquin.
